During the first 2 months of this fascist administration, we have been exposed to a daily barrage of chaotic and disruptive orders from the administration.

The threats relating to massive cuts in Social Security and Veterans Health Care is causing major fear and stress in tens of millions of seniors and veterans. This is a population group that our government should honor and respect. The opposite is what is happening today. We have to be vocal about fighting these threats. Join me in this discussion.

We have abandoned our spirit and our dream that America provides equal opportunity for all. We have become Apathetic and uninvolved in our society. Our voices are needed now more than ever before in our lives. The potential destruction of our way of living is real. The threat of authoritarianism in an oligarchy regime is real. We are a force of over 60 million voices. We are a movement in waiting. So, let’s move loudly.

Tyranny requires our fear and our silence and our compliance. Democracy requires our courage. So let us gather our forgotten spirit of the 60’s and show our combined strength to make our voices herd loudly and clearly. We will not let the tragic spirit of despair overcome us.

The direction that this country is heading is very much up in the air. I have been processing my own reactions to recent happenings. I have concluded that I cannot change what has happened, but I can change my response. 

Make no mistake, I am still angry today. I will continue to support groups fighting for freedom for all people. We are part of a diverse society. Let’s respect each of our individual choices.

Real Life After 70 is a podcast created to inspire senior citizens to embrace new beginnings.

This podcast will feature interviews with seniors who have found new passions, started businesses, traveled the world, or embarked on exciting ventures after retiring. 

It will also include episodes on staying active, learning new skills, engaging with the community, and embracing creativity in later years.

By sharing uplifting stories and practical advice, this podcast will inspire seniors to see retirement as a new chapter full of possibilities and opportunities for growth and fulfillment.

We will make every effort to have each episode be informative, entertaining, and relevant to living our best life in our 70’s and beyond.
